The mission of the Desert Valley Women's Club is to make a difference in the lives of others through dedication to volunteerism and addressing the diverse needs of our community. It will also be our mission to create an organized center of action for women, to promote growth in the Desert Valley area one project at a time.

President’s Message
We are a group of socially minded energetic women that joined together in 2010. Our common goals are to develop friendships, network for business and community, and make a difference in the Coachella Valley community one project at a time. Our club is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) , and the California Federation of Women’s Clubs (CFWC) . GFWC has been bringing together local women’s club from around the country and throughout the world since 1890. The Woman’s Club of Indio, “Celebrating a Century of Service”, mentors the Desert Valley Women’s Club under the guidelines of the GFWC and CFWC.
The Desert Valley Women’s Club got off to a great start in 2010. We chartered the club with sixteen fabulous ladies in September of 2010. The Club raised money for The Susan Komen Foundation, donated holiday gifts to the Shelter From The Storm, collected loose change at each meeting for reforestation in Southern California, and began the planning of the first ever “Day at the Polo Fields”, a fundraiser to fund our scholarships and other projects with local charities. Any woman is encouraged to join us to make a difference by networking in the Coachella Valley!
